As a Software Engineer within the North America Zone TechOps organization you will design, build, test, and support proprietary software and capabilities! You will act as a technical authority and partner with others to deliver sustainable solutions and successful end-user experiences.
Partner with internal product owners, scrum masters, tech team members, and customers to understand and translate requirements into simple, measurable solutions.
Design, test, develop, and support software to meet customer needs.
Improve processes by recommending upgrades for existing systems and programs.
Create technical documentation including diagrams, flowcharts and models that illustrate the overall system design as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance.
Ensure continued functionality of a program during maintenance and testing of software.
Revisit the development process to fix bugs or address client or consumer concerns.
Consistently look for opportunities to streamline development processes, standardize solutions, and improve team efficiency (Kaizen).
Maintain Azure DevOps Projects/Boards for sprint cadences.
Participate in daily stand ups, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospectives where appropriate.
Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, CIS, or a related field.
2+ years’ experience with software/product development teams is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft programming languages required (C#, WPF, ASP.Net, etc.)
Proficiency with GitHub required.
Knowledge/application of SQL and MS SQL Server or other databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with building and deploying apps to Azure stack.
Experience with Azure DevOps product (Boards, Pipelines, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly grasp complex subject areas.
Prior experience on a Scrum team a plus, but not required.
Prior experience with DevOps concepts a plus, but not required.
Experience with Machine Learning/Deep Learning a plus, but not required.
Strong communication/interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
