We are seeking experienced, inspired engineers with applied computer vision and machine learning experience to join our team. In this role, you will lend your expertise in computer vision, algorithm development and software engineering to a team of engineers as we develop and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms in a variety of environments – from cloud-based systems to low size, weight, and power (SWAP) architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement computer vision solutions that exploit machine learning, statistical learning, and deep learning for next-generation software solutions
•  Plan and conduct research in projects related to computer vision, probabilistic modeling, predictive analytics, and content curation
• Develop and prototype algorithms, models, and analytical tools for solving domain specific problems
• Take part in the entire project lifecycle from requirements development to deployment
• Collaborate with technical team on product strategy

Required Qualifications:  

• United States Citizenship – must be able to obtain/maintain a US-Government issued security clearance of Top Secret or higher

• At least five years of hands-on experience as a computer vision engineer, machine learning engineer, or data scientist with at least two years focused on computer vision
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or another computational field
• Python proficiency
• Hands on experience working with large imagery data sets including image normalization, image augmentation, raster/vector visualization, etc
• Experience developing deep learning-based software solutions including developing models in TensorFlow or PyTorch, and Keras
• Familiarity with some open-source python computer vision libraries such as Scikit-image, Rasterio, OpenCV, Pillow, Shapely, etc. (Need not have experience with all)
• Ability to create and follow standard software development processes and clearly document results
• Ability to communicate concepts and analytical results with customers, management, and the technical team

• Current knowledge of research literature in computer vision. •
• Experience working with remote sensing data
• An active TS/SCI security clearance
