As an Applications & Solutions Support Analyst, you will work in the Information Systems and Technology team to support existing systems and develop new tools and functions used widely in the organization to support our critical reliability mission. You will support and configure solutions using tools and platforms like SharePoint, Azure, Power BI, Dynamics CRM, MS Power Apps, and Office 365. You will participate in project planning, execution, testing, and support of various software solutions. You will support all areas of content management, publication, knowledge management, and other services. You will also create appropriate user-level documentation and provide continuous support to end users.

You will—

  • Respond to requests for support and enhancements of current SharePoint environments, workflows, and content presentation using ITSM best practices.
  • Provide basic support for site and content administration by managing permissions and creating and maintaining sites, workspaces, workflows, lists, and libraries.
  • Drive and promote project documentation, knowledge retention, and knowledge transfer through support and deployment efforts.
  • Minimize risk by identifying, communicating, and escalating issues to management.
  • Work with business and technical staff to implement, document, and support software solutions, whether purchased or developed in-house.
  • Create, enhance, and follow software testing processes.
  • Ensure that systems and functions protect data based on the data classification.

You will enjoy this role if—

  • You have a combination of five years of experience and/or education related to technology and enterprise applications such as:
    • SharePoint creation, customization, installation, and integration efforts for enterprise solutions involving departmental collaboration sites, enterprise search and content management, and forms workflow;
    • Microsoft Dynamics CRM customization and administration experience;
    • Microsoft O365 solution stack and enterprise applications support;
    • Understanding and troubleshooting technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
    • .NET web-based and related client-side technologies.
  • You work well in a team environment to deploy software solutions according to industry best practices.
  • You are comfortable working in an Agile environment.
  • You are adept at administering business automation solutions such as workflow engines.
  • You hold any related industry certifications (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer, etc).
  • You enjoy being part of a collaborative technology team.
  • You are a self-starter, motivated to grow and learn cross functionally with IT.

The Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) is a non-profit corporation that exists to assure a reliable Bulk Electric System in the geographic area known as the Western Interconnection. WECC has been approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) as the Regional Entity for the Western Interconnection. The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) delegated some of its authority to create, monitor, and enforce reliability standards to WECC through a Delegation Agreement.
