We are seeking a Vice President of Marketing who will focused on business to government market development. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of military and law-enforcement markets and selling to government entities. Extensive experience with tradeshow, digital marketing and brand management a must.

JOB TITLE: Vice President of Marketing

LOCATION: ADS Headquarters, Virginia Beach

Essential Functions

• Serve as a senior executive of the company, providing support in the area of marketing strategy and management.
• Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
• Provide leadership and/or support the design, development, and implementation of products and service lines.
• Oversee and provide direction to market and competitor analysis.
• Provide leadership, direction and management of the market research function.
• Ensure all marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources.
• Drive revenue & strategic direction of company
• Develops and manages marketing operating budgets.
• Coordinate marketing efforts with suppliers with strategic plans and objectives.
• Provide marketing skills and expertise to the company by building, developing and managing a marketing team capable of carrying out the necessary marketing strategies and tactics.
• Participate fully in professional societies and activities related to government acquisitions in general and the marketing profession in particular.
• Prepare presentations to explain the company's current and future strategies.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in marketing
• Team leadership
• Experience with a company in Aerospace, Military, DoD or related market sector
• Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering marketing strategies on time and within budget to meet company objectives.
• Excellent project management skills with strong analytical and business acumen.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to management, team members as well as non-technical audiences.
• Exceptional ability to impact and influence business results where cross group collaboration is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, effective interpersonal skills.
