Job Description:

The Radar Modeling and Algorithm Engineer will be part of a team responsible for systems analysis, signal processing algorithm design, simulation development, and testing of advanced systems in support of our RF munitions, RF seeker, and digital aperture products.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Provide guidance to a small team in developing radar models and algorithms
• Analyze data from data collection and design verification test efforts
• Develop and run simulations and other analysis tools to predict system performance in various environments
• Develop kinematic, RF environmental, and hardware models to support algorithm development
• Develop and test RF signal processing algorithms
• Exploration of new problem solution areas with innovative concepts and approaches
• Present results during internal and external program meetings
• Use judgment to plan cost and schedule of modeling and simulation activities
• Develop, track, and present technical metrics
• This position requires US Citizenship and must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance (and obtain and maintain additional clearances as required)
• May travel up to 10%
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Mathematics required
• Minimum 4 years’ of RF signal processing experience
• Experience developing radar algorithms, models, and/or simulations
• RF Signal Processing Experience
• Problem Solving Skills
• Advanced Math Skills

Preferred Additional Skils:

• Existing DoD clearance with current 6 year update.
• RF Seeker or Digital Aperture signal processing experience
• Experience in Agile development environments
• Familiarity with government provided simulations (AFSIM, Suppressor, etc)
• Project planning and tracking, cost account management, Microsoft project.
• Experience in managing a small program’s algorithm engineering effort
• Master’s or PhD degree in Engineering and/or equivalent experience desired.
