Job Description:
L3Harris Interstate Electronics Corporation is seeking a highly motivated embedded software engineer to join our Navigation Solutions software development team. Successful candidates perform complex professional software engineering assignments requiring expertise covering a range of the GPS domain within a team environment.

Headquartered in Anaheim, CA, IEC is a recognized industry leader in defense and security solutions, providing critical technology advancements in the areas of GPS/ Position Navigation and Timing, and Range and Test Solutions.
Essential Functions:
- Hands on embedded C development, including integrating and debugging on target hardware
- Embedded software design, development, and test
- Is a self-starter, able to implement a variety of coding assignments and perform peer reviews
- Demonstrates ability to learn the complex SW architecture
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development methodology
- Platform experience using Linux/Windows, C and GCC
- Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- 3+ years of experience with C.
- 3+ years of experience in programming microcontrollers.
- 3+ years of experience with design and implementation of multithreaded software.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience in design, analysis and implementation of deeply embedded software.
- Experience in GPS receiver development.
- Familiar with Defense industry typical documentation and milestone reviews
