What you will do –

As the Senior Program Manager in our Business Excellence PMO, you will work with a group of cross functional leaders to create high-functioning project teams. You will efficiently manage team workflow to support a wide range of projects ranging in size and duration. 

 

Additional responsibilities:

  • You will partner with cross-functional leaders from Engineering, Advanced Operations, Materials, Quality, and Product Transfers to determine project scope, develop comprehensive project initiatives and drive alignment with business objectives across the operation
  • Own the project schedule. Develop and manage the detailed project Gantt chart.  Analyze critical path, major workstreams, and intersecting milestones
  • Lead the team in the development of the project charter and management plan.  Direct, manage, monitor, and control project.   Evaluate tradeoffs within the project
  • Collaborate with cross-functional managers to define project budget. Monitor and maintain costs within budget
  • Drive project strategy and cost saving initiatives across the division and department
  • Contribute to the standardization of the project management best practices and seek opportunities to harmonize processes and systems across programs
  • Manage the site level PMO tracking, development of project pipeline, and team and site accountability for delivering on both
  • Represent the site level PMO in monitoring of metrics and regular report outs to Senior level leaders

What you need –

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10+ years of work experience required
  • 3+ years of cross-functional project management experience required  
  • Experience using Project Management tools such as MS Project – highly preferred
  • PMP(R) certification – highly preferred
