What you will do-

 

You will perform manufacturing duties as required to ensure the team meets all goals and objectives. You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of a customized production team. Your responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.  You will manage complex project flow from design through manufacturing. You will set up and maintain all products that go through the cell. You will perform product inventory, cell purchasing and manufacturing outsourcing. You will oversee vendor performance and work closely with key business partners to achieve cell targets.

 

  • Leads a production team to ensure targets/KPIs for quality/service/costs/people development are achieved

  • Verify and approve attendance reports and manage transfer of hours.  Manage employee relations per Stryker policies including but not limited to: FMLA, Code of Conduct, Attendance and the Employee Information Guide (EIG)

  • Create and maintain item masters, routers, Bill of Materials (BOMs) and label approvals.  Review project folders.  Generate and maintain purchase orders

  • Utilize Access/Oracle database to create new job folders, repeat orders, and track existing orders

  • Manage and maintain Intermediate Warehouses & Finished Goods (FG) warehouses

  • Identify and manage opportunities to improve the planning process

  • Manage and develop supplier quality and total cost improvements through collaborative efforts in the areas of process improvement (lead time), technology, and supplier chain management

  • Manage Core Vendor List and facilitate quarterly vendor meetings to review vendor performance

What you need-

  • Bachelor’s degree, required

  • 6 years experience in project planning/project management /production planning / people management, required

  • Leadership skills with a history of driving performance, required

  • Experience in medical device industry or other highly regulated industry (automotive, aerospace etc.), preferred
