These initiatives require superior planning, governance and execution oversight to enhance business value and optimize outcomes across numerous domains.

Are you a versatile reporting and analytics professional looking to join a small, fast paced team? As a Business Analyst, you will partner closely with leaders and collaborators within the organization to determine key requirements for data structures and architecture to support tooling that will underpin planning processes and a large portfolio. Additionally, you will help identify key performance indicators and provide prototype reporting for further development with the Metrics and Analytics team. The ideal candidate has both a business and technical background and is a self-starter. Someone who has a passion for quality and data accuracy and who enjoys collaborating with people with a diverse set of talents in a multifaceted environment.

This person will collaborate with engineers, architects and program managers from engineering and development teams to analyze and define requirements for tool specifications, development and ultimately their implementation.

About You

Qualifications

• Must be either a Transitioning US military Veteran or eligible member of the National Guard or Reserves.
• Cannot have been out of the military for longer than three years (exception is for those currently enrolled in a full-time educational program)
• 4+ years of enterprise level business and data analysis for process improvement/development and implementation as well as key performance indicator reporting.
• 2+ experience analyzing sophisticated systems, mapping dependencies, and addressing gaps and shortfalls with partners across organizations.
• 2+ Experience with process documentation (Gap Analysis, SIPOC, etc).
• 2+ Proficient with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and or SQL 

Other Qualifications

• Experience with Jira and/or Smartsheet a plus!
• Familiarity with Software Development Methodologies such as Agile. 
• Authority for multiple business processes or analysis efforts of medium complexity
• Requires minimal technical mentorship or supervision
• Problem-solver capable of translating issues into simple terms to facilitate discussions and decisions.
• Demonstrable ability to pull data from numerous sources and to synthesize for easy consumption
• Ability to creatively display data, analyze trends, and identify areas of improvement.
• Provide project and monthly metrics coordination and support.
• See opportunities for metrics business process improvements and make recommendations.
• Use internal systems to automate reports and scale current/future processes whenever possible.
• Strong organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Effective and experienced in running multi-functional relationships
