Position Specific Description
Position is responsible for supporting renewable generating and storage operating assets within the NEER portfolio and will operate under direct to general supervision. The position will be responsible for timely completion of all assigned tasks and support the coordination and execution of strategic initiatives that may require data collection, financial modeling and analyses, due diligence, project management, change management, optimize work processes and making recommendations to management. Successful person will be action oriented, resourceful, and demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Overview
Employees in this role support the overall P and L management of one or more NextEra generating assets. This position support budgeting and forecasting, analyzing P and L variance, participating in ad hoc and special projects.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Completes financial, operational, or technical project analysis
- Conducts analyses regarding issues that have an impact on the operation of a specific functional area and makes recommendations to management
- Maintains project schedules and reviews documents for technical accuracy
- Performs ad hoc projects, report development, modeling, and other miscellaneous projects
- Oversees discretionary capital improvement or restructuring projects for generating assets
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: 3+ years
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Master's - Business Administration
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
